My First Plugin - All Currency Ever Created

I am not sure what to call it yet, but my first attempt at the plugins will be to create something similar to the chart on the main website, but basically show every unit of currency ever created. I am curious to how much is in circulation and how much is being or has been created. Will be a good exercise in plugins for me.

My first stab at plugins, borrowed a lot of code from timekoin to make it work.

Very simple plugin, install, click button, wait a while, get answer.

Took me about 2 minutes to get an answer, there are 2,062,526 timekoins in circulation right now!

Worked for me, I was surprised to see the total as well. I should probably put some type of updating counter on the main website, perhaps at the top of the page because it is an impressive number.

Where do you install these in the client version?

I am not sure if it would work on a client because it has to load the entire database and decrypt all the generation transactions to add up the values. I don't think the clients have that kind of access to server api out there?

I do not see this being a client plugin if you need to load the entire database to tally up the amounts client would not be able to do this remotely I am sure.

Besides that, great first plugin! I am sure you can tweak it up and put the upgrades here for us to play with.

No, do not! It works fine. I mean it takes forever to go over a million transactions but it works on mine.
