Good to know someone with the same configuration

I will wait for couple of days for the sync to complete and see.

I am not getting any emails for my password reset action.

Is it broken or do I have to do something else?

Mine is a brand new wallet on an ubuntu box and is still having the issues.

I did send soe coins to it, but couldnt see any till now.
So I presumed that, it has to finsh syncing up, for me to do anything with the wallet.

Its been going on like for 10 hours or so.
And my transaction history is stuck at

IS this normal to take so much time?

I came to know about timekoin from bitcointalk.
How come there is not much activity in bitcointalk about this coin, where clones are created on a daily basis.
